During a heated exchange on CBS, Vice President J.D. Vance fiercely defended Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for Director of National Intelligence, rejecting Margaret Brennan’s attempt to cast doubt on her candidacy.

Vance, however, was resolute in his response. “No, Margaret. Look, these publications that you’ve mentioned have obsessively attacked Donald Trump. But at the end of the day, those publications don’t decide who the president is. The American people do. And it’s President Trump, not these publications, who decides who should serve in his cabinet. Frankly, those outlets have lost their relevance.”
Brennan quickly countered, “The Senate will ultimately decide.”

Brennan, however, pushed back, stating, “She doesn’t trust those intelligence services.”
