The renowned political analyst Lou Dobbs has passed away at the age of 78. Widely recognized for his time at both CNN and Fox News, Dobbs was a polarizing figure, often sparking debate—especially for his comments surrounding Barack Obama.
In a heartfelt message on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump paid tribute to Dobbs, calling him an “incredible talent” and a “friend” who was a “truly amazing reporter, journalist, and artist.” Trump went on to say, “Lou was unique, and he loved our nation.”
Dobbs’ career began in the mid-1970s, when he transitioned from radio to television, joining NBC’s King-TV in Seattle. He later became one of CNN’s pioneering reporters, famously hosting the business news program Moneyline starting in 1980.
His coverage of illegal immigration, which became a major source of controversy, led to his departure from CNN in 2009. Dobbs then went on to host Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business, where he remained until the show was canceled in 2021.
I pray for the repose of the soul of Lou Dobbs. For Trump not ever.He is ruining America.
