A resurfaced video has left many grieving, showing Charlie Kirk embracing his young daughter just weeks before his assassination in Utah.
A Father’s Joy
The clip, filmed on Fox & Friends Weekend, shows Kirk’s 3-year-old daughter crossing the studio floor before
running into his arms. Sitting on the couch as a guest host, Kirk’s face lit up as he held her, offering a rare
glimpse into the private family life he and his wife, Erika, usually shielded from the public. While Kirk was outspoken about faith and politics,
he kept his children largely out of the spotlight, making this moment one of the few times viewers saw him as a devoted father.
From Studio to Tragedy
That joyful scene feels tragically different now. On Wednesday, the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was shot during
his American Comeback Tour event at Utah Valley University. He had just begun answering a question about mass shootings
in his “prove me wrong” segment when a single bullet struck him in the neck, sending students scrambling for safety.
Kirk was rushed to a hospital but died two and a half hours later. The contrast between the warm memory
of a father’s embrace and the shocking violence of his death has left supporters heartbroken.
