Update: Fargo Man Faces Felony Charges for Keying Tesla Cybertruck in Costco Parking Lot

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A criminal complaint has been filed against Ryan Lyle Williams, a Fargo man accused of vandalizing a Tesla Cybertruck in the West Fargo Costco parking lot on Saturday.

Williams is facing felony criminal mischief charges after allegedly keying the vehicle. Authorities were able to identify his car with assistance from nearby business cameras and Tesla’s vehicle cameras. Williams later admitted to the vandalism.

The incident was brought to light when Tesla owner Mitch Benson shared photos and videos of the damage on social media. The post quickly gained attention, being shared over 1,300 times on Facebook.

Police have stated that the investigation is still ongoing.
