As President Donald Trump nears the iconic 100-day milestone of his presidency, he boldly claims that his relentless, no-holds-barred approach to U.S. commerce will far exceed expectations. In a recent interview with Time magazine, published Friday, Trump revealed that as many as 200 trade deals are either completed or in the pipeline, aimed at revitalizing the nation’s economic ties with countries and companies around the globe.
Despite facing pointed and skeptical questions, the President stood firm, refusing to back down from his bold assertions. The interview was conducted on Tuesday at the White House by Time senior political correspondent Eric Cortellessa and editor-in-chief Sam Jacobs.
