“Sharon Osbourne Opens Up About Heartbreaking Truths Regarding Ozzy Osbourne – And It’s Truly Devastating”

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s Heartfelt Journey Back to the UK Hits a Bump – And the News is Devastating

After more than two decades in Los Angeles, Ozzy Osbourne shook headlines in August 2022 when he announced plans to return to the UK with his wife, Sharon. Yet, despite their intentions, almost two years have passed and the couple is still waiting for the right moment to make the move.

In the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast released on Tuesday, July 16, they opened up about their ongoing struggles. When a listener asked about their relocation plans, Ozzy, 75, responded, “We’re trying to get on a flight.”

Unfortunately, Ozzy’s health has delayed the move. Sharon, 71, shared how his medical challenges have interfered with their plans. In a January podcast interview, Ozzy revealed that he’s undergone “seven surgeries in the past five years,” including a major spinal operation in September 2023. Having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003, Ozzy still requires regular treatment to manage his symptoms.

“It just seems that every time we’re set to go, something happens with Ozzy’s health,” Sharon explained during the podcast. She reassured listeners, saying, “We’ll get there. We want to go back so bad, but we’ll get there. Won’t we, Ozzy?”

Ozzy, with a soft smile, responded, “Yeah,” as Sharon encouraged him, “We will.”

Previously, Ozzy had cited the political instability and growing gun violence in the United States as key reasons for their decision to leave. In an interview with The Observer in August 2022, he was candid about his frustrations:

“Everything’s f—— ridiculous there,” Ozzy shared. “I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings… It’s f—— crazy.”

Ozzy continued, expressing his desire to return to his roots, “I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in f—— Forest Lawn. I’m English. I want to be back. It’s just time for me to come home.”

Sharon echoed his sentiments, noting, “America has changed so drastically. It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now.”

The couple, who share children Kelly, 39; Jack, 38; and Aimee, 40, as well as Jessica and Louis (Ozzy’s children from his first marriage to Thelma Riley), had initially planned to return to the UK in February 2023. However, as they continue to navigate Ozzy’s health struggles, their dream of returning home remains on hold.
