Former U.S. President Donald Trump has slammed the recent act of vandalism at his Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, calling it a “disgraceful attack” and urging authorities to bring swift and severe justice to those responsible.

The incident occurred in the early hours of March 8, when vandals splattered red paint across the clubhouse and caused damage to the course’s greens. Scottish police responded at approximately 4:40 AM and arrested 33-year-old Kieran Robson, who has since been charged with malicious mischief and released on bail. Two additional suspects—a 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman—were also detained and later released as the investigation continues.

Trump expressed gratitude to UK law enforcement for their prompt action and emphasized that such acts are far from peaceful protest. “This is not activism—it’s criminal behavior,” he stated, condemning the attack as an assault on both property and democratic values.

In response, Trump has bolstered security at the historic resort, one of the crown jewels in his real estate portfolio, and pledged full cooperation with ongoing investigations.

The event has reignited debate about the line between protest and vandalism. While critics of Trump continue to voice opposition, many agree that damaging property weakens the legitimacy of any cause.

As the probe unfolds, Trump remains adamant: “Justice must be swift, and it must be firm.”
