Before the burial, the bodies were laid in state at the Vediris Funeral Home, located in the Rincón Moreno community, where family members, friends, and neighbors gathered to say goodbye to the victims of this tragedy that has shocked the nation.
The incident occurred on Sunday night in the Ensanche Isabelita, Santo Domingo Este, when the mother is believed to have given her children a juice mixed with a toxic substance, and then ingested the same mixture herself, leading to a fatal outcome.
