Urgent Search Underway for Missing Children Elise and Elliot, Last Seen in Banbury
Thames Valley Police have urgently appealed to the public for help in locating two missing children, Elise and Elliot, whose disappearance has raised growing concerns for their safety and well-being.
The children vanished from Banbury, Oxfordshire, on Wednesday, April 16, and have not been seen since. Authorities have launched an extensive search across the region, with officers focusing their efforts on Banbury and Milton Keynes, a city over 24 miles away where the children are believed to have connections. In an effort to aid the search, police have shared their images and details of the case in a public missing persons appeal.
The police statement, posted on the Thames Valley Police Cherwell Facebook page, reads: “We are extremely concerned for the welfare of Elise and Elliot, who have been missing since 16/04/25. They are thought to be together and have links to Banbury and Milton Keynes. If you have any information, please call 101, quoting reference 43250186824. Any information, no matter how small, could be crucial. Thank you.”
With over 170,000 people reported missing every year in the UK, the Mirror has launched the Missed campaign to raise awareness about missing persons, especially those whose cases often receive less attention. In partnership with the charity Missing People, the campaign highlights the importance of support and care for those who go missing and their families.
Missing People is the UK’s only charity dedicated to supporting missing children and adults. Their mission is to provide a lifeline to families in crisis and ensure missing individuals receive the help they need, as they work to prevent harm and bring those lost back home.
Every missing person is loved and missed, and every effort counts in bringing them home safely.
