Donald Trump Slams Into Controversy as ‘Laziest President’ After Easter Weekend Golf Getaway with Elon Musk

People are always quick to share their opinions on the political climate in Washington. While some strongly support Donald Trump and his actions, others are quick to point out his faults.

During this year’s Easter weekend, President Trump participated in the annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House. However, outside of this public event, he spent much of his time at his golf club, enjoying a laid-back round of golf with none other than tech mogul Elon Musk.

As soon as it became clear that Trump was spending his Easter weekend on the golf course, critics quickly began questioning his work ethic.

A video that has since gone viral shows Donald Trump warmly greeting guests at his Virginia golf club, alongside Tesla CEO Elon Musk. After receiving applause, the president playfully acknowledged the crowd, saying, “Do you all know who this is? The world’s richest man!”

The clip quickly went viral, sparking a flood of reactions. Among the most vocal were members of a political group called “Republicans Against Trump,” who wasted no time criticizing the president’s work ethic. They pointed out that Trump had spent his Easter weekend golfing with Elon Musk at his Virginia golf club, adding that, according to the Trump Golf Tracker, he had already spent over 25 percent of his presidency on the golf course. The group didn’t hold back, labeling him “the laziest president in history.”

MAGA supporters quickly rallied to defend Trump, with one even crunching the numbers to challenge claims that the president was “lazy.” They argued: “There are 5 workdays and 2 weekend days, so weekends make up 28.57% of the week. Golfing only takes about 4 hours, meaning he spends just 8 hours on the golf course each week. That’s only 4.76% of his time. That’s not laziness – it’s called taking a break, getting some exercise, and recharging the batteries.”
