For 25 years, her husband had tried to convince her to change her hairstyle, but Rosa Ramirez remained fiercely proud of her 1.5-meter-long hair. However, after all those years, she finally decided it was time for a change.
Accompanied by some friends, she visited the hair salon, and with a mix of excitement and relief, she chopped off her long locks to just shoulder length. “We love seeing customers try new styles, and it’s always a treat when someone like her comes in,” said Eda Motchka, the owner of the salon, in an interview with WXYZ-TV Detroit.
