Nathaniel “Nate” Pelletier, a beloved member of the When Calls the Heart family, has tragically passed away at the age of 53. Known for his warm spirit and unwavering dedication, Nate died suddenly at his home in Langley, British Columbia, on April 11.
Though he made on-screen appearances as a taxi driver in several episodes, Nate was best known behind the scenes as a cherished part of the transportation team. He was responsible for maintaining and driving the show’s iconic vintage vehicles — a role he performed with pride and passion.
The news has left a profound impact on the When Calls the Heart community. Actor Martin Cummins (Henry Gowen) shared an emotional tribute, reflecting on their time together:
