Senator Kevin Cramer Recovering After Fall Causes Seizure and Brain Bleed
Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), 64, is on the mend after a frightening fall on ice led to a seizure and a minor brain bleed.
In a recent social media update, Cramer shared that the accident occurred while he was retrieving a piece of conduit from his dock. He slipped, striking the back of his head. A CT scan later revealed a severe concussion, a seizure, and a slight brain bleed. He also required staples to close a head wound and was hospitalized for observation.
“I’m better today—with just a slight brain bleed and some bad headaches,” Cramer wrote, reassuring supporters of his progress.
Now recovering at home, the senator is being treated with anti-seizure medication and is under the care of his wife, Kris, whose quick response played a key role in his recovery. Former President Donald Trump also sent his well wishes, expressing gratitude that Cramer is resting and praising Kris for her swift action.
